The Agritourism LE GIARE is situated in Sarola in the Ligurian province of Imperia. After having left the motorway at the exit marked IMPERIA EST turn right onto the “Strada Statale” 28 in the direction of Turin. After three kilometres you can either continue on the left hand side following the new speedway with its convenient signs or keep on on the right hand side and follow the old road leading through the small town of Pontedassio. and its beaches and 12 km from Diano Marina, 30 km from Sanremo, 35
km from Alassio and 60 km from France. In Imperia, we recommend a visit to the Borgo Parasio, where you can admire the 17th century Palazzo Gastaldi, the 18th century convent “Convento delle Clarisse” and the Palazzo Pagliari from the 15th century. Close by on the Piazza del Duomo you will find the “Pinacoteca Civica” (picture gallery) exhibiting works from 19th and 20th century artists and the “Museo Navale” (naval museum) showing a wealth of historical testimonies from the ancient maritime tradition. |
